London Bike Show 2011
On Sunday 16th January I went to the London Bike Show at ExCel. When I first saw the event advertised I wasn't overly keen on attending, being so close after Christmas and having previously attended the Cycle Show at Earls Court back in September. However, I won a free pair of tickets courtesy of Madison.
When I found out I won, I immediately contacted fellow blogger Les, the moonwalking bear and offered him my spare ticket. I originally wanted to go on the Saturday but he couldn't make it but said he was free Sunday, so I checked the train times and arranged to meet him at 10am at Victoria.
I also found out one of my Twitter followers, @AmboClaire was going so arranged to meet up with her.
The show was noticeably smaller than the recent Cycle Show but ExCel was also hosting The Outdoor Show and The London Boat Show, both of which were included with your entry ticket. It didn't take long to get around the show but with wandering back and forth to the bikes we liked the most, catching up since the last time we met and watching the live stunt bike shows, the time passed quickly. We were there about 6 hours in total.
Below are some pics from the show. My favourite was the Rose PRO-SL 2200 in black and yellow, which was a reasonable £849.99. Enjoy!
