  4. Amazing weight loss you've achieved. It must be the biggest upgrade available!

I weigh 130 kg and am the face or body I should say, of the emerging new Australian it seems. I've been cycle touring on and off over the last three years and injuries aside I am amazed at how fit I have become even with all my weight. Surprises many other riders too.
I love fully loaded touring but I love a beer too so there might be/is something in that as to why I haven't lost weight. Biggest day was about 116km with 32kg of gear and a 16kg bike. I hope my knees last. Better get off those lagers damn it.

    Cheers, A

  5. Hi A,

You obviously enjoy cycling and you've seen the benefits of the fitness and strength it can bring. If you can keep the food in check then you'll get the weight down.

    Good luck.

  6. Toby, your site is very inspirational and I hope you don't mind but I'm borrowing your 'goals' idea. It's such a great way to push me forward and to do more...

I hope you continue to challenge yourself in 2012. Lets see some more of your list ticked off!

    Cheers
    Ron
