Why I started this blog

I started this blog as a record of my attempt to cycle to work and lose weight. I'm 31 years old, 5'7" tall and weigh 131kg (BMI 45.6). I used to cycle everywhere as a kid and haven't really ridden a bike since I passed my driving test at the age of 17.

If this encourages anyone to do something similar then great. If anyone has any tips or suggestions that's also great. If anyone wants to mock me or laugh, go ahead. I just think that what I'm trying to do is an achievement and if I succeed or fail, I have a record of what I've done.

  2. Hi Simon, thanks for the comments.

I use My Nokia E71 with GPS built-in.

To change the title picture you need to go to the Page Elelents tab under layout. Then go to edit next to header and choose which image you want to upload.

  4. Yes I have to transfer the data into RidewithGPS. I also use Nokia Sports Tracker (http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/user/profile.do?u=saabfan) and the phone automatically uploads data to it. The only reason I use Ridewith GPS is because I can embed the journeys into my blog.

  6. when you upload to ride with gps you will see the option to embed on the right. Copy this code and paste into your blog post.

My friend uses an iphone to record his journeys. He uses an app called Sportypal.

Try Google Documents to embed spreadsheets into your blog.

    Thanks for the comments.
